About Carolyn
CAROLYN CHARLEYBOY
Carolyn Charleyboy, M.Ed., RCC
Carolyn is a strong Tsilhqotìn woman and a member of the Tsi Del Del First Nation. She was raised on-reserve and has family members who attended the St. Joseph’s Mission Residential School, and thus brings an abundance of personal and family experience to her work. Carolyn lived in Kamloops and Vancouver for her undergraduate studies and early career work, as well as in Ottawa for an internship with the Assembly of First Nations (AFN).
Carolyn is now a masters-level clinical counsellor with over ten years of experience and advanced training in a number of specialized modalities. She is also a certified peacemaking circle-keeper and a highly skilled workshop facilitator.
Living and working primarily in the BC Interior, Carolyn will also often travel to speak at events and present at workshops (most recently in Edmonton and Toronto). She is deeply connected to her cultural practices, including hunting & fishing, beading, salve-making and berry-collecting, along with ceremony including sweats and sacred fires.
Please reach out if you would like to discuss the possibility of Carolyn coming to your community.
