COUNSELLING
Carolyn completed her undergraduate degree in Family Studies at the University of British Columbia (UBC Vancouver) in 2006 before going on to work in a number of service roles. In 2013, she began her graduate studies at the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC Prince George) completing her Master’s in Education – Counselling (M.Ed.) in 2017.
Since 2015, Carolyn has provided clinical counselling to adults and youth, primarily within the indigenous community, focusing on trauma and the inter-generational impacts of colonization.
As a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC, #17538), Carolyn is currently providing counselling for:

Carolyn has advanced training/certification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Equine Assisted Learning (EAL), Indigenous Focus Oriented Therapy (IFOT) and Eye Movement Desensitization (EMDR). She is recognized for her strong ability to create trust and safety with every person she helps.
